Creating & Editing Promo Codes

To begin, click on STORE in the left-hand navigation menu. Then click on PROMO CODE.

The Promo Code management console will show all active promo codes.

Click on the ADD PROMO CODE button to create a new promo code, or click on the EDIT button under the actions column to change an existing code. Selecting ADD will take you to a blank new promo code page.

NAME - The name of the promo code is what should be used to identify the promo code internally. E.g. 50% off

CODE - This is the actual code used to redeem the promotional item on the checkout page. This code can be any combination of letters and numbers.

DISCOUNT - There are two options for the type of discount that can be provided: flat rate & percent. Please keep in mind that discounts are provided PER ticket (unless a promo code rule states otherwise. See our Promo Code Rules article for more information on setting limitations and rules).

FLAT RATE - As named, a flat rate discount  reduces a ticket the exact amount listed in the Discount Amount per ticket. If you select flat rate, and enter in $5 in the Discount Amount, customers who apply the promo will get $5 off of the price of each ticket.

PERCENT - As named, a percent discount reduces the cost of each ticket by the percentage typed into the Discount Amount box.

***NOTE*** The $ symbol will still appear next to the discount amount but a percentage discount will be applied. This will not affect the promotion being applied as a percentage. We apologize for any confusion.***

DISCOUNT AMOUNT - The flat dollar or percentage that will be reduced from the price of each ticket when the promo code is applied to a purchase.
